I’m diving into FPV with the Spektrum VA1100 Micro Camera on my LaTrax Alias.
This camera/transmitter combo has a power input range of 3.3v – 4.2v (1s), so it can be powered off my LaTrax Alias’ battery. Currently I taped the camera on the Alias with scotch tape :

It comes with pretty much everything you need to get going for FPV (First Person View) besides the power for the VA1100 camera itself :
I’m keeping a running list of my flights on my LaTrax Alias quadcopter. This is starting from my first flight ever to about now, at 30 flights in. Each flight lasts about 10-15 minutes. I’m no expert, and I definitely needed a lot of practice.

The Stand
I was getting tired of always fiddling with the positioning of my phone on my wireless QI charger – so I decided to build a charging stand for it. I originally designed it for my Nexus 4, but it suffered a disasterous screen break a week ago. Luckily my replacement Nexus 5 works just fine it in as well.
